Oh my goodness - I ADORE this couple! What an incredible day the 28th April 2018 was.
I still laugh at how chill Mel was from our first contact to the day of the wedding. I honestly couldn’t ask for a more laid-back bride and after meeting Harry on the day I can completely understand why these two are so smitten and in awe of each other.
With Mel being a former stylist from Temple and Webster and now operating under her own business - Melissa McMeekin I knew I was in for a treat but, WOW!!! I was BLOWN AWAY!!! Mel completely transferred the reception space at The Anchorage and made a tropical luxe oasis. All the workers at The Anchorage came down to check it out and I quote “we have never seen this room look so good”.
Mel and Harry let me have free range on the flowers and I am so grateful for their trust. As Nouba put it:
“a new take on tropical luxe with textural greenery and high impact blooms”
The various flower combinations, bursts of colour, contrasting textures and striking forms had me skipping home. I couldn’t have been happier and I am beyond proud to say Mel and Harry thought the same:
“Rachael was absolutely amazing! A real talent and artist who pushes the boundaries of floristry design” - Mel as seen in Nouba
